Compare the thin string of the classic Mayan to the thick string of the Mayan KING
A royal treat. The KING is a new thick string hammock woven using the same technique as the traditional Mayan thin string. The string thickness is about 6 times the thickness of the thin string Mayan (e.g. LD model), yet it maintains the high level of comfort and support of the large mayan LD & SG. The thicker string allows the use of cotton for the end strings, thus the hammock is 100% cotton throughout. Thicker string means less chance of damaging the strings. Cotton is less affected by UV light and does well if left outside. The Mayan King has about 3 times the amount of material than the Mayan LD. It can hold 4 persons like the SG, however it's best with 1 or 2.
