GUARANTEE 90 Days on Materials and Workpersonship: All our hammocks, hanging chairs, and accessories are guaranteed for 90 days for materials and workmanship. We will repair or replace all hammocks with defective materials and workpersonship within 90 days of purchase. This is exclusive of normal wear or damage due to abuse, misuse, carelessness, neglect or weathering. Our hammocks are normally inspected two times before shipping, for problems with materials and workpersonship. We include instructions for care and use with each hammock and in many instances customers who follow these instructions own their hammocks for 10 years or more. However, we do not guarantee that your hammock will last any specific length of time. It is in the hands of the owner.

GUARANTEED REPLACEMENT for 1 year : Hangouts will replace damaged Brazilian or Mayan hammocks and chairs regardless of the cause of the damage for 1 year for a pro-rated amount in proportion to the time owned. If the customer requests replacement in the first three months of ownership, then the customer will pay 25% of the current price of the item. The formula used to determine the amount paid by the customer after the first three months is (Amount paid for replacement) = {(#months owned)/12months}*($price of item).

Shipping on returns: The customer is responsible for all shipping on returns, exchanges, or guarantee claims. Time limit for returns or exchanges is 30 days. The customer should contact us before shipping items back to us and confirm the correct address for return shipping and the necessary information to include.
